Meet Tim Rogers

image Tim started his broadcasting career on Radio Trent in the East Midland in 1979 went on to broadcast on Xtra AM in Birmingham and of course on the original GEM-AM.

He presented the National Country Show on the Classic Gold which included broadcasts from Nashville’s WSM Radio, the Country Music Hall Of Fame, Grand Ole Opry and then moved to SAGA radio.
In February 2007 Tim won the coveted Nashville Country Music Association ‘International Broadcasters Award’ for outstanding contributions to Country Music.

Tim Rogers is described by a Country Music contemporary as being "the local Country Music Presenter who was the benchmark for us all from the 80’s onwards.”
